The Best Of Byron Bay

Byron Bay has a unique vortex vibe. When you’re there it’s as if time and space stop and you’re in this beautiful, heavenly reality where magic and synchronicity rule. Whenever I find myself there, I love to drop in to my favorite spots and soak up all that this haven has to offer.

#1. One of my favorite spots is The Roadhouse.

There is this little side area that does incredible wood fire pizzas. The ambiance is dark and candlelit, perfect for a date night! They are the only place I know of that has bulletproof coffee and now they even offer my favorite mushroom cacao tonic.

#2. Next on my list is the Byron Caravan Park

I highly recommend this affordable and comfortable accommodation option when visiting Byron. It is the best and most central location and has stunning views as it backs in the National Park.  I found this caravan on Airbnb that was just $40 bucks a night! They have a shared kitchen and bathroom which is clean and beautifully decorated. I found the experience sweet and reminiscent, like I was back at The Burn.

#3. For the ultimate retreat experience you can check out Rae’s. It is an exceptional accommodation.

#4. The Byron at Byron is another special accommodation that is set near the National Park Rainforest.

#5. Creature Yoga is amazing. They have locations in the industrial area and right in town. I love dropping in for a balanced and grounding practice whenever I’m in town.

#6. I highly recommend checking out the Lighthouse walk. It’s great exercise and the views are unbelievable. My favorite thing to do is packing some snacks and goodies, grabbing a picnic rug, and hiking out to watch the sunset.

#7. I can’t talk about Byron Bay without mentioning surfing. The first wave I ever caught was at Byron. The water is incredible and the small waves are perfect for beginners.  Wategos and The pass are my go-to spots!

#8. In town there is a tie dye shop that you cannot miss with tons of reworked tees. There are lots of pop up vintage stores so be sure to check those out! I love to shop around and get my Byron look going.

#9. The Mullumbimby Farmers Market is full of great local foods and artisan’s crafts. It is awesome to support farmers and craftsmen and enjoying the community while listening to the local musicians jamming.

#10. The Farm! It is literally what it sounds like. It is a farm that you can visit and meet all the amazing Australian animals and have a farm to table delicious lunch, breakfast or cocktail.

#11. Killen Falls is an incredible waterfall nearby that you can swim in! There are loads of swimming holes and waterfalls around and near Byron but this is one of my favorites! Surrounded by rainforest, it is easy to experience the healing of water and nature here.
